La Agrupación de Jóvenes Abogados (AJA) del Colegio de Abogados de Madrid es un colectivo de abogados menores de 35 años, o que lleven menos de 5 años colegiados, dedicado a fomentar el compañerismo y la unión entre los colegiados más jóvenes. Está presidida por una junta electa de doce miembros no remunerados.

40 Under Forty Awards Ceremony2

This year the “40 under Forty Awards Ceremony” will take place at the “Museo del Traje” in Madrid.

These awards recognise the top lawyers under 40 advising Spanish and Portuguese businesses and attracts an audience of over 200 leaders of the leading Iberian law firms and General Counsel from the major businesses.

Also, the Second Edition of the Outstanding Social Contribution Award supported by Fundación Aranzadi Lex Nova wich will be offered to one spanish and one portuguese lawyer for theis dedication to social causes.

For the first time ever, 2013 sees the introduction of a new award: The Glenlivet Leadership Award. This will recognise the best Iberian law firm investing in young talent, demonstrated by their ongoing succsess at the 40 under Forty Awards since 2007.

In addition, as part of the evening and prior to the Awards, please note that we are hosting our usual Legal Summit for a selected group of 40 senior guests (General Counsel and Managing Partners). This is a highly participatory round table debate.
